Discipleship Curriculum

When you take a look at our culture, fast food places on almost every corner and countless opportunities to eat whatever you wish, even a committed Christian may never consider Fasting. Yet, one of the classic, Christian aspects of growing deeper in the faith is Fasting.
God is calling us to be proactive with our faith so we can grow and be mature. This requires us to be faithful which requires us to submit and to be humble. The result is respect, cooperation, unity, community, and the power of His Fruit at work.
The key to the success of finding and developing faith is simple; it is obedience. We must be ready to serve God rather than our needs, even before we know what the call may be, and take this mindset into life and to others.
God asks us to have an "eternal" perspective! The premise is to move us to more maturity by moving our mindset away from the false beliefs and ideas we have built up. What we tend to pursue, in our desires in life, is meaningless against the backdrop of seeking faith and the call that Christ gives us.
Faith…Hope…Love, are central and crucial gifts of God, such aspects of the resulting new life we have in Christ. These gifts turn into virtues by our application of them. If these are not being produced, then there is a real critical problem. These three essentials help us bringing forth fruit; the central feature of our faith development is whether the work of the Spirit and God's love is being exhibited in us.
Faith Learns Trust and Reliance! Do not let your lack of willingness to grow in the faith rob you of His plan for you.
The secret to remaining joyful in the face of singleness or failures or any kind of adversity is this, simple and profound, it is our faith-our confidence and assurance that He is there in the boat of life with us, just as he was in the storm with the Disciples
Our faith cannot just be academic, an idea, or even just a hope; it has to be real. We must have more in our spiritual arsenal than just belief.
Jesus often taught His disciples about the importance of perseverance, faith, and humility in prayer...
So, what can I do? Give Him the gifts, all of them, repentance, faith, mind, heart, witness, all from your real authentic Christianity...
